Oregano Oil P-73 Soft Gels
The world famous and original oregano oil in an easy to take gelcap - a blend of edible species of wild oregano grown on natural mineral rich soils. Its indigenous growing condition along with the dedication to a chemical and alcohol free extraction is the reason P73 Oreganol oil has a unique chemical profile, which is ideal for human consumption. This same oregano species can be grown elsewhere and not have the same effect of the P73, it is truly one of a kind. NAH&S was the first to develop an edible oregano oil blend--all others are imitations. Oreganol P73 is made from the original wild, high-mountain Mediterranean oregano. It is selectively handpicked from remote pristine regions, which are pollution and pesticide free. The potent oregano oil can be used either internally or topically. Each Oreganol P73 gelcap contains the original mountain blend. P-73 gelcaps are ideal for those who need to take the oil internally and provide support for healthy bladder function. Laboratory tested, high carvacrol - low thymol, pure and safe, suitable for everyday use. Research indicates that oil of oregano kills germs, including bacteria, moulds, yeast and fungi. North American Herb and Spice was founded in 1999 by Judy Kay Gray, MS with the idea that nourishment from raw whole foods is the key to maintaining optimal health. Today those founding ideals serve as the foundation for more than 130 unique products, formulations that are highly nourishing and naturally powerful. Throughout the years North American Herb and Spice has exemplified quality in all the ingredients used to formulate its products. From the remote mountains of the Mediterranean to the valleys of the Amazon rainforest, North American Herb and Spice has sourced the finest fruits, herbs, and spices in the world. Wild handpicked spices such as the oregano we use in moulds P73 are the cornerstone of our product line. The phenolic compounds found in these spices have been revered since antiquity for their powerful effects. These whole, fresh spices are steam distilled using the same processes used for generations, capturing the concentrated essential oil at often astounding ratios. These concentrated spice oils are then emulsified in extra virgin olive oil at the perfect ratio for power and palatability. Through this proprietary process invented by our founder Ms. Gray, the spice extract market in the United States was revived after problems with adulteration hindered its growth in the early 1950s. The end result was the purest, most powerful spice extracts made from the purest ingredients free from pesticides, chemicals, and solvents.
Our wild oregano is handpicked by villagers in the most remote mountainous regions of the Mediterranean. This ensures the impeccable purity and quality of the essential oils we provide. When the wild spice and herbs are steam distilled to extract the powerful essential oils, it is done with pure, underground spring waters. This is a technique used by the indigenous peoples of the region for centuries. After the steam distillation process is complete, the essential oils are then tested to ensure the phytochemical markers are within our expectations. When the essential oils are emulsified, it is in organic extra virgin olive oil, which by itself possesses powerful nutritive properties. We never adulterate our products with fillers, chemicals, or solvents.

Garlic: Garlic is widely used around the world for its pungent flavour as a seasoning or condiment. It is a fundamental component in many or most dishes of various regions, including eastern Asia, south Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, northern Africa, southern Europe, and parts of south and Central America. The flavour varies in intensity and aroma with the different cooking methods. Garlic has been used as both food and medicine in many cultures for thousands of years, dating at least as far back as the time that the Giza pyramids were built. Garlic is still grown in Egypt, but the Syrian variety is the kind most esteemed now. Garlic is mentioned in the Bible. Hippocrates, Galen and Pliny all mention the use of garlic for many conditions, including parasites, respiratory problems, poor digestion, and low energy. Its use in China was first mentioned in AD 510. Scientific studies reveal garlic has been found to have antibacterial, antiviral, and anti fungal activity. In 2007, the BBC reported that Allium sativum may have other beneficial properties, such as preventing and fighting the common cold. This assertion has the backing of long tradition in herbal medicine, which has used garlic for hoarseness and coughs. The Cherokee also used it as an expectorant for coughs and croup.
Cayenne: The cayenne pepper -- also known as the Guinea spice, aleva or bird pepper or, red pepper -- is a hot, red chilli pepper used to flavour dishes and for medicinal purposes. Named for the city of Cayenne in French Guiana, it is a cultivar of Capsicum annum related to bell peppers, jalapeños, and others. The Capsicum genus is in the nightshade family (Solanaceae). Cayenne is used in cooking spicy dishes, as powder or in its whole form (such as in Sichuan cuisine) or in a thin, vinegar-based sauce. It is generally rated at 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Units. It is also used as a herbal supplement, and was mentioned by Nicholas Culpeper in his 17th century book Complete Herbal. "Cayenne pepper — prized for thousands of years for it's healing power. Folklore from around the world recounts amazing results using cayenne pepper in simple healing and in baffling health problems. But cayenne pepper is not just a healer from ancient history. Recent clinical studies have been conducted on many of the old-time health applications for this miracle herb. Again and again, the therapeutic value of cayenne pepper has been medically validated."
Horseradish: The benefits of horseradish were recorded thousands of years ago by the Ancient Egyptians, and centuries ago by the Roman naturalist, Pliny the Elder. This intense-tasting root has been a healing food for a number of cultures, including Native Americans as well as Europeans, useful in any case where a stimulant is necessary. Today, it has more of a reputation as a condiment for beef and fish, adding heat and flavour to many dishes. Prepared horseradish root is an ingredient in bloody mary's and a spread for roast beef sandwiches. Unknown to many fans of this spicy root are the potent health benefits of horseradish. The traditional uses for this healing root also include relieving coughs, sinus infections, asthma, and bronchitis. As an overall stimulant, this plant has a number of positive effects on the respiratory system. It is an expectorant; it encourages the body to eliminate excess mucous, which is generally the culprit of respiratory infections. Horseradish root stimulates the opening of air pathways for better breathing. It is also a potent antibacterial agent, cleansing the throat, mouth, and lungs of bacterial infection.
Ginger: Ginger has been used for its culinary and health benefits for over 5000 years and is a favourite medicinal as well as cooking herb added to foods for an amazing burst of flavour. Unlike most spices, the part that has the most medicinal value grows under ground. Often mistakenly called “ginger root” this is actually the rhizome of the plant which is more of a subterranean stem than a root. In traditional Chinese medicine, ginger is used to calm upset stomachs, soothe nausea and stop diarrhoea. Other traditional health practitioners also understood the health benefits of ginger ? It has been widely used in Europe to help relieve menstrual cramps, treat the symptoms of the common cold and ease headaches. The health benefits of ginger come from chemicals called volatile oils, specifically gingerols and shogaols, that also give ginger its spicy, pungent taste. Those oils stimulate your body to produce more digestive juices and help neutralise the stomach acids that cause cramping, nausea and diarrhoea. Ginger is also a natural decongestant and antihistamine, which makes it a natural treatment for head colds.
White Onion: Onions (Allium cepa) belong to the lily family, the same family as garlic, leeks, chives, scallions and shallots. There are over 600 species of Allium, distributed all over Europe, North America, Northern Africa and Asia. The plants can be used as ornamentals, vegetables, spices, or as medicine. There are over 120 different documented uses of the Alliums. Onion and other Allium vegetables are characterised by their rich content of thiosulfinates, sulfides, sulfoxides, and other odoriferous sulfur compounds. The cysteine sulfoxides are primarily responsible for the onion flavour and produce the eye-irritating compounds that induce lacrimation. The thiosulfinates exhibit antimicrobial properties. Onion is effective against many bacteria including Bacillus subtilis, Salmonella, and E. coli. The World Health Organisation (WHO) supports the use of onions for the treatment of poor appetite and to prevent atherosclerosis. In addition, onion extracts are recognised by WHO for providing relief in the treatment of coughs and colds, asthma and bronchitis. Onions are known to decrease bronchial spasms. An onion extract was found to decrease allergy-induced bronchial constriction in asthma patients.
Apple Cider Vinegar ( with the Mother ): For centuries people have been using natural apple cider vinegar as both a food and a medicine for themselves and for their pets.
Since 400BC, Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, and others, have used vinegar and vinegar mixed with honey, as an energising tonic and a healing elixir.More recently, the health benefits of apple cider vinegar have been promoted by many well-known authors such as Dr Jarvis, Paul C. Bragg and Patricia Bragg. DC Jarvis, a Vermont country doctor, noted that apple cider vinegar was a respected home remedy used by many Vermonters to successfully treat a number of common ailments and nagging aches and pains. He was so impressed that he went on to write a book on his observations and experimentations with home remedies, especially apple cider vinegar, and its beneficial effects on both people and farm animals.
This natural product retains all the nutritional goodness of the apples from which it was made plus it is fortified with the extra acids and enzymes produced during the two fermentation steps.
It's the sum of all these ingredients that give apple cider vinegar it's amazing health benefits. Apple cider vinegar fits in well with today's trend towards eating natural healthy whole foods, and away from the overconsumption of highly processed convenience foods, which are depleted of much of their original nutrients. The apple cider vinegar that contains all of the health benefits is not a clear vinegar, but just the opposite. It is an organic and unfiltered vinegar . It is not a clear liquid, but has got a brownish tinge to it. If you try looking through it, you will notice a tiny cobweb-like substance floating in it. This is known as "mother," and means just one thing. This apple cider vinegar is of good quality with all the nutrients and health giving properties intact.
Kung Fu'd combines all these marvellous ingredients together in a pure, healthy state. All Natural -Nothing artificial - Not a thing!
